Finding out that you’re pregnant can be a pretty life-changing moment. If you were planning on it, then you’re probably nervous, yet elated. If you were not planning on it, then maybe scared, worried, anxious, excited, or even terrified are words that describe some of the emotions that you’re experiencing.
We all know that having a baby is a huge life-changer. But what should you do if you weren’t planning on it? How are you supposed to know what to do if this was the last thing that you were expecting?
If you think that you might be pregnant, the best thing to do first is to find out for sure. Here at the Pregnancy Resource Center, we actually offer free pregnancy tests to women who believe that they might be pregnant. We can also talk to you about your options, and help you to make the choice that is best for you and your life.
When should you tell your partner? What should you tell your family? What are you going to do about work? How are you going to afford everything? What kinds of options do you have if you aren’t sure that you can even take care of a baby right now?
These are all legitimate questions that new, expectant mothers might ask if they weren’t planning on having a baby—and we can offer resources and information to help you answer all of them.
Please consider visiting us here at the Pregnancy Resource Center if you think that you might be pregnant. You can at least get a free pregnancy test to find out for sure, and then we can go step-by-step with you to help figure out the rest.
