Be Real

Sex Education For A Better Future

The Be Real Program is an abstinence-based sexual health and positive relationship education program that combines medical and scientific information with real-world common sense to educate teens in an attempt to equip them to make the best, most positive choices for their lives regarding sexual activity.

In this ten-day program, students will spend an hour each day listening to a presenter, partaking in group discussions, interacting in educational activities, and learning about what it means to be safe and responsible when it comes to having sex.

Our program is age-appropriate, medically and factually accurate, meets all of the state-mandated requirements for a sexual health education curriculum in the state of Missouri, and is intended for students ranging anywhere from 7th grade to 12th grade (we currently utilize two different modules—a high school module and a middle school module).

We currently present the program on an annual basis in several local area schools, and believe that it will equal positive, long-term effects for the youth in and around our local communities. This program is intended to inform and to educate—and we believe that teens who take part in it walk away with a much better understanding of how important it is to make responsible choices when it comes to sexual activity.
